Founding Revelers

Building on past traditions and creating new ones: The Bayou Mardi Gras Association aims to bring back the traditions recognized as Mardi Gras on the Bayou.

Mardi Gras is to South Louisiana as Red Beans are to rice.  So when New Iberia’s own Mardi Gras Parade was discontinued, a group of civic leaders began to lead the way to return the parade back to the historic streets of Downtown New Iberia.

Join with the Bayou Mardi Gras Association in bringing back this family styled Mardi Gras Celebration, on the banks of the Bayou Teche, which attracts families, friends and tourism to Iberia Parish.  Just like we call out, “Throw me something mister!” we are calling out for your support.  Let us know if you want to help us lead this parade.

ça va être bien
